Labiaplasty is a surgical removal of redundant tissue in the area of labia minor, including final adjustment according to the required size and shape.

Labiaplasty is always performed in full anaesthesia and it takes about 1 hour. The surgeon removes the loose skin, adjust the tissue layers and, finally, stitches everything up with dissolvable suture. The procedure is very subtle and takes heed of all neural endings in this particularly sensitive area. Depending on the postoperative state, the patient can leave for home convalescence the next day, provided with all necessary information on the postoperative care.
Thanks to the use of absorbable suture material, no further medical procedure is required after the operation. During the following two days, the patient can feel a slight tension – pain in the lower belly and labia sensitivity, which can be followed by minor bleeding and vaginal discharge. Such state is only temporary and should not last longer than 1 week after the operation. Resting period should take in this case about 2 weeks, sexual intercourse is, however, possible no sooner than 4 weeks after the procedure. A return to all activities is, in general, highly dependent in individual state and medical consultations.
Labiaplasty helps women to solve both functional and aesthetic problems in the intimate area – including feelings of discomfort during exercise and sex. The effects are permanent.
