Breast plastic surgery: Modelling
Every woman is different and, without exaggeration, is the breast. But not every woman is satisfied…
Too small or asymmetric breasts concern many women, even though it may not be a problem limiting everyday life. The perception of one's own body and its shapes are highly individual. Modern medicine, fortunately, offers plenty of possibilities for a completely individualized approach to breast plastic surgery so that the result is natural and the patients are satisfied with their décolletage. Do you long for a bigger bust and do not want a surgery according to the sampler? Then Mediestetik is the right choice.
Augmentation mammoplasty; i.e. breast augmentation surgery using silicone implants or your own fat. It is the most common type of plastic surgery in the world. According to estimates, more than 3 million women worldwide underwent breast enlargement surgery throughout the last 35 years, and this number is growing. Several reasons can lead to augmentation. The woman perceives her breasts as too small over a long period. Woman's breasts are asymmetric in shape or have changed significantly after pregnancy. Weight loss or ageing can also motivate a woman to undergo surgery.
In the case of significant asymmetry, the surgeon can insert the implant only unilaterally. In the vast majority of cases, we perform the enlargement on both breasts by inserting the implant usually under the muscle. Less frequent is the insertion of implants under the gland. However, both have advantages and disadvantages. Placement depends on a number of factors, and the doctor suggests the most suitable one. What matters are the type and size of the gland, the quality of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, the strength of the muscle, and whether or not the patient has children etc.
Step 1 = the comprehensive consultation - in detail and openly. Step 2 = pre-operative examination; laboratory blood analysis, ECG and breast sonography. Including mapping of the patient and her family history. The surgeon performs the procedure itself under general anaesthesia. It takes 1- 2 hours. The patient then remains hospitalized for 1, a maximum of 2 days, depending on the development of the postoperative condition. At this stage, the doctor checks the patient and removes any blood drainage tubes. The patient should have a two-week bed rest following the release into home care. The patient should also avoid smoking. It is necessary to continuously wear an elastic bra and lift a weight of up to 3 kg by one hand for the first 6 weeks after surgery. A woman should avoid activities during which she feels pressure or traction in breast muscle.
Analgesics help to suppress the pain after the surgery. The doctor will preventively administer antibiotics for 5-7 days and swelling will be suppressed as well. In addition to conventional postoperative techniques such as pressure massage and silicone patching, the resulting incision appearance can be corrected directly at the Mediestetik clinic using a variety of methods, including laser treatment.
The result is primarily based on detailed and fully individualized consultation with a plastic surgeon who takes into account all the necessary aspects including; the overall figure of the patient, the height and width of the chest, the width of the pelvis, the size of the mammary gland and, last but not least, the patient's wishes and expectations. The patient chooses the size of the implant with the help of a silicone implant substitute, which she can place in a special bra. We use photographs and computer animations for consultation as well. However, we should point out that breast augmentation alone brings "only" an enlargement effect. In case, the patient has smaller sagging breasts, implants can lift it, but larger breasts require a combination of augmentation and modelling. The patient sees the result after wearing a special compression bra selected by the doctor, i.e. 6 weeks after the surgery.
You can find experienced plastic surgeons with state-of-the-art equipment and quality materials. We use top-quality implants in all sizes and shapes. After consultation with a surgeon, you select the appropriate implant, its location and the location of the surgical incision. Thanks to the detailed preparation and excellent care of the treating physician, you will be sure you are undergoing the procedure with the maximum of available information, confidence and calmness. For example, did you know that as one of the few in the Czech Republic (and Europe in general) we have an operating theatre made of special antibacterial glass that ensures 100% patient safety?
