Have you ever noticed that your face loses volume as the years go by? It’s caused by the decrease…
Ravages of time often begin to take the toll first on our face. Eyebrows drop, the skin starts to sag on the forehead and eye area. What shall we do about it? Using creams and serums in skincare is important, but it can't work miracles. Surgical correction, on the other hand, can. Don't worry, it doesn't have to be an extensive facelift. Mediestetik offers a unique method of so-called temporal lift with significant overall rejuvenation since the forehead is the most prominent feature of the face!
Temporal lift is a small-scale facelift / mini facelift, which aims to lift loose skin, particularly in the temple area. The forehead and eyebrows are relatively separate areas of the face. Therefore, this procedure does not significantly affect other facial parts. The aim is to remove the sagging and loose skin of the lower part of the forehead with an effect on the eyebrows and eye area.
The procedure is performed under general or local anaesthesia. A small incision (3-4 cm) is made at the edge of the forehead so that it is as invisible as possible.
It is a minor and local form of a mini facelift. Due to the dominance of the forehead and eyes, a temporal lift has a significant effect on the overall rejuvenation of the face. To enhance the final result, it is also possible to combine the procedure with the aesthetic dermatology treatments (e.g. Thermage or Ultraformer III - tightening devices).
The temporal lift significantly raises the eyebrows, smoothes the wrinkles on the forehead and removes the tired face look. The results can be visible several weeks after the operation. However, due to the extent of the procedure, convalescence is significantly faster than with a classic facelift.
