T-Scan®: Digital Occlusal Analysis

If made from quality material, the chance that your dental prosthesis will break, is very low, however, some patients tend to wear theirs out very fast. These prosthetics eventually break from the constant excessive pressure put on them as the patient bites and chews. Until now, this situation could have not been prevented anyhow, as the tool didn’t exist which could measure the intensity of the bite. Today, the situation is different.

What is T-Scan^®?

T-Scan^® is the newest occlusal diagnostic system, able to see where the dentist couldn't before using traditional occlusal indicator methods. It is able to reveal any possible unevenness of the teeth and to uncover all previously undetectable interrelationships of occlusal surfaces. This allows the dentist to provide more thorough and precise care.

The system can show all the possible risks and enable their elimination before the problems even develop. It is no longer necessary to only rely on the patient’s feeling in these cases, which can differ from the actual diagnosis, as the system brings very detailed and reliable information.

T-Scan^® can visualize the occusal analysis of your teeth in real time, showing you clearly what is happening in your oral cavity as you bite or chew, and helping the dentist to prepare detailed individual treatment plan for each of their patient. For these purposes, most dentists are still using so called articulating paper.
